1. What is HALO?
HALO, or Heritage American’s Loyal Order, is a fraternal beneficiary society founded in 2026 to unite American men of European descent in preserving our heritage, providing mutual aid, and building parallel institutions for cultural and economic renewal. We operate under a 501(c)(8) tax-exempt status and emphasize ethnic solidarity through local lodges.
2. Who can join HALO?
Membership is open to American men aged 18 and older of exclusively European descent who affirm our values and align with our mission. Women and families are welcome in supportive roles within lodge activities, but core membership focuses on men as protectors and builders.
3. How do I apply for membership?
Complete the online Membership Application Questionnaire and submit the $49 application fee on our website (halolodge.org), including personal details and references. Your local lodge, state, or county rep will conduct vetting, including a background check (if required) and interview. Upon approval and initiation into your local lodge, you will be a member in good standing.
4. How much does it cost?
Our annual membership fee is $99. During the application, a $49 non-refundable application fee is used to support the local lodge during the vetting and for mission-oriented initiatives, and is applied to the annual membership fee upon member vetting and acceptance.
4. What are the benefits of joining?
Members access mutual aid programs like the Young Members Relief and Advancement Fund (scholarships and grants), emergency financial assistance, healthcare stipends, legal defense, and family support, as well as shared services, training, and business consulting in alignment with our mission. Lodges also offer local events, skills training, and networking for personal and professional growth.
5. How is HALO structured?
HALO uses an upside-down pyramid model: Lodges hold ultimate authority through member conscience, supported by state and county leaders for coordination, and a 7 member National Council for infrastructure and mutual aid administration. Power flows from the grassroots up.
6. What activities do lodges offer?
Activities will vary by location: Urban lodges can focus on networking and mentorship; suburban on family outings and workshops; rural on farming skills and outdoor events, all depending on the skills and experience of the local lodge members. All emphasize cultural preservation, mutual aid, and leadership development.
7. Is HALO a political, religious, or militant organization?
No. HALO is purely fraternal, to no exclusion but that members are American of European descent and affirm commitment to our values and mission. All our activities are dedicated to member benefit in alignment with our mission, and within all legal, ethical, and moral guidelines.
8. How are dues used?
The $99 annual dues fund: 15% for national infrastructure, expenses paid to Lodges for vetting and recruitment, and the remainder (~34.5%) for mutual aid programs. Transparency reports are provided quarterly to chartered lodges, and publicly available through Form 990 in our annual filings.
9. What is HALO’s goal for membership?
Our goal is to collectivize 750,000 members by November 2026, creating a critical mass for sustainable parallel institutions and cultural preservation.
10. How does HALO ensure privacy and security?
We protect all member data with encryption and strict access controls, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Information is used only for fraternal purposes and never sold or shared externally without consent.
11. Can I start a lodge in my county?
Yes! Apply here on the website. Once vetted, you’ll receive a Lodge Charter with guidelines for setup, requiring at least 10 founding members.
12. Is HALO tax-exempt?
Yes, as a 501(c)(8) fraternal beneficiary society, HALO is exempt from federal income tax. Dues and donations are not tax-deductible, but they fund member benefits like aid and education.
